The Beam (or Halo) is a cell phone with a built in projector from Texas Instruments.
A novel product indeed from Samsung who attempted this last year with a product that never came to market. It’s a full-featured smartphone and from the top of the phone you can project images, video and presentations.

That is a massive features list with the projector, 8MP main camera and a secondary VGA camera for calling. The projector can project from 1 to 3 meters away and with three hours of battery life you could watch at film or two on it. They say that at three meters it’s approximately a 50-inch projection.
