LG announced in February another messaging phone, the GT350
with a full touch screen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Considering the popularity of their previous KS360, this should prove successful. They’ve updated this one with a touch screen and added 3G and 3.5G data connections. They also redesigned the keyboard and gave it a conventional layout (the previous had three rows of keys). But for some reason, they have failed to include Wi-Fi capabilities which limits somewhat the market. While the phone is aimed at messaging, it certainly could have done with Wi-Fi to make is a more robust offering.

Hopefully, LG will bring out a higher-end version of this phone with Wi-Fi and a larger camera, but it’s unlikely. They probably feel that the 3G and 3.5G connectivity more than makes up for the lack of Wi-Fi in it and the 3.15MP camera is more than enough considering the price point of the phone.
