LG GT350

LG announced in February another messaging phone, the GT350 qwert LG GT350with a full touch screen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Considering the popularity of their previous KS360, this should prove successful. They’ve updated this one with a touch screen and added 3G and 3.5G data connections.  They also redesigned the keyboard and gave it a conventional layout (the previous had three rows of keys). But for some reason, they have failed to include Wi-Fi capabilities which limits somewhat the market. While the phone is aimed at messaging, it certainly could have done with Wi-Fi to make is a more robust offering.

Toshiba K01

The K01 is the same as the TG02 but with a slide out QWERTY keyboard.  toshiba logo Toshiba K01It’s another large (4.1″) touch screen phone in their Windows Mobile line. It’s got all the same specs but is slightly thicker thanks to the keyboard. It’s also got an AMOLED touch screen where the TG02 has a TFT and can manage up to 32GB microSD expansion.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro

The Vivaz Pro is an upgraded version of the recently announced Vivaz.sony ericsson logo e1268165117399 Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro The major difference is the Pro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard on top of all of the other features. While some might think that is breaks the styling of the phone, it adds a mere 2mm to the thickness and only 20 grams to its weight. Not a major price to pay for a full QWERTY keyboard. Unlike Samsung’s other Montes, this is far from a complete package.samsung e2550 monte slider 2 150x150 Samsung Monte Slider E2550 The slider reference pertains to the fact that the keypad slides out and the handset skips a touch screen altogether. It looks to be a low-end entry into the market for them trying to piggyback on the Monte name.

The Samsung Ch@t B3410W is made for messaging.samsung ch t b3410w 21204 150x150 Samsung Ch@t B3410W It’s a new version of the Corby and this time round it’s got Wi-Fi in it. The phone is certainly aimed at those who like to chat or use social networking and email often with its touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It does skimp on a few features to keep the price down (GSM only, 2MP camera)
